I bought this brand because I felt it was the best for placing an ice pack deep on the back of the heel to treat Achilles tendonitis , after I can say that it works great for this purpose. I love that the pocket that holds the ice pack has a liner so you can place the ice pack on the back of the liner. The idea is to cool the inflamed area instead of freezing it. One thing I would like to improve is designing the wrap to have a 90 degree curve in the heel. Right now I'd say the bend is 20 degrees at best. This means that when a bandage is applied to the bottom of the foot, it tightens between the top of the foot and the inside of the ankle. Not a big deal but something that could be improved. This is the only reason I gave it a four start rating. I am happy with the purchase.
