I absolutely LOVE these shorts! No itching - just perfect! My 6 year old is 42 pounds and 42 inches. I ordered XXL (size 6) and it fits perfectly. Not a lot of room to grow, but she had fun wearing them this summer! Easily washable - dry flat!
