Review on The Ultimate Morakniv Bushcraft Knife: Incomparable Performance in Sleek Black by Puggzy Wallin

First knife. Sheath Doubt

This is basically my first knife and I haven't used it much so adjust the weight accordingly. The knife looks great! None of the single quality issues I've seen in other reviews here. The only thing that worries me is the vagina. The body of the scabbard seems to cover the hilt more than necessary, making it a little awkward to draw out of the scabbard, pinky and ring finger first to expose more of the hilt and eventually a proper grip. The thumb loops on the scabbard are also in the wrong place for this movement, so should we adjust the grip after removing the scabbard? Also, the rubber fits so tightly on the sheath that pressing down on the ribs of the thumb causes too much friction. The scabbard's locking action depends on the softer grip rubber on the handle - it wears out almost like an eraser with visible damage. already with me. Seems to be a design flaw, but not a deal breaker. The sheath clip seems to sit too low on my hips. Due to my lack of experience with knives, I have the least amount of confidence in this part of my review. I think it would be better if the axis of rotation was in line with the belt and not shifted down as it is. Possibly in combination with the other issues above, the pivot point misalignment makes it unstable on my belt as there are effectively two pivot points, the second of which is the center of the belt. I think actually I would have preferred a higher mount AND a fixed angle, handle tilted back at the hips. I'd love to hear from experienced users on this topic of attaching a vaginal clip before I feel the urge to change that by breaking the clip in half and shortening it by gluing the half pivot section to the top of the clip. I could 3D print a prototype, but I'd get tired of trusting such a prototype to stay safe under load.
