4 stars are probably not bad for me. I received it after sending the file.

4 stars is probably not bad for me. I got it after posting links to other products on Fakespot website and seeing how many reviews BS has for other dashcam products. As far as I know it is Viola or Viof or some other brand rebranded by SpyTec. It's smaller and lighter than I thought. I thought I wouldn't like the weird corner design, but turns out I really like it. I mounted it on the windshield over the sedan tint strip, camera lens down, making sure the wipers cleared the glass in front of the lens. It's been working great for the past few weeks, and from most angles you can't even tell I have a camera outside in the car. I bought a cable set so it turns on when I start my truck and off when I turn off the car. My model comes with a GPS mount which works well for mounting, speed and viewing with 3rd party dashcam viewer software. Seek. The controls are intuitive and easy to use while driving. The mount feels solid and I didn't notice any odd vibrations when watching a video that was playing. I bought a 64GB Sandisk card and formatted it in the camera. It was quick and worked right away. I had a used 32GB card that I originally used and couldn't get it to work in a lifetime. This camera does not come with a memory card and FYI uses a mini-USB power cable, not a micro-USB. This is a VCR. This is not a satellite camera built for NASA that can see license plates from 20 miles away. It shows the basic things that can help you prove the accident wasn't your fault, and that's basically all it's supposed to do. it's just getting better and people will just upgrade to the next best thing, so until then it'll work fine. I did a current test for those affected and got from 250mA to 440mA at my home with my USB ammeter. I didn't have a GPS module plugged in at home, so that would require some extra power. For some reason the power consumption doesn't stabilize between these two numbers. I would buy one of these for my rear window but I have a 15% higher tint than factory and I didn't cut a hole in the tint for the camera lens to see through. it won't work very well.
