The part of the connector that goes into the mirror is too big for the 2015 Subaru BRZ. Had to be sanded to fit. Even then, I have trouble losing contact if I accidentally touch them. I also don't like how much they stick out of the rearview mirror because they interfere with the radar detector mirror mounting. I had to bend them at a 60 degree angle to loosen the bracket. I found another point to connect them with a dome plug but the cable is about 3 inches too short. To be honest my plan is to cut the cable, add an extension cord and connect it to the dome light. I understand that there might not be any problems with this cable in another car if the plugs fit and the bracket releases.
