Price was right but I'm totally in favor of switching to the Motocraft brand which was quiet except for the airflow even after 250k plus! This TYC hums at all speeds, so annoying. It hurts not to replace it too badly, although it does take research and time. According to the Ford manual, the selector switch in front of the R/R is supposed to be placed on the fairing vents (the ones that blow in your face) around with an air cushion. Also mark or tape the steering wheel in its position so it doesn't move when the shaft is disconnected! I saw other reviews saying the same thing about noise so I was warned and I was a victim too. OEM is about 3 times as much, FYI come on I spend a lot of time in the car and it's gonna piss me off. Grips for any 10mm wrench or 12mm socket for steering shaft, Bourbon.
