Short legs don't have braces

Most cycling shorts have some kind of padding around the legs to keep them from riding up. They're good for summer rides, but I wonder what they'll do in the winter. The Pulse logo on the legs is made from the same material as the shirt sleeves and does not stretch. Let's see how it holds up over time! I have deducted one star for comfort and one for value for money for this item and 2 stars overall as this is not the standard for cycling shorts and not what I expected.
