They couldn't keep the bed in place at all. They managed to prevent *some* movement, but unless you weigh 100 pounds, you're probably going to be flying the bed quite a bit. To make matters worse, if he starts to slide out of his seat, trying to push him back can cause them to pop out from under his legs, meaning now you're going to put him back in place and back under your foot have to lay. It doesn't seem like a big deal, but if you do it 20 or 30 times, it gets boring very quickly. I'm sure there are better products to prevent slipping on hardwood floors but I just made the mistake of buying them. I think it's worth noting, I don't write a lot of harsh reviews. But these products just don't work, aside from a slight slip resistance that ends up being more trouble than it's worth. I highly recommend finding another product that has a stronger "grip" at the base. (i.e. a heavier rubber ring) which is better at creating the friction needed to keep the bed from moving.
