Good value for money!

I just rode 700 miles with my new Nelson Riggs bags on the Olympic Peninsula here in Washington State. I think they are great value for money, they seem to be well made and they look really good! I've spent enough money on my bike and other cycling gear to have decent waterproof bags that can ride off-road. At $151, that's a great deal! These bags stay zippered on and off the road, just check the tightness of the straps at stops, they are easy to adjust. The removable inner bags feel light, but during all three of my overnight stays you just take them out with your gear and leave the saddlebags on the bike. Very easy. I used zippers on each side where the straps attach the bag to the trunk for added security. The pockets never moved but stayed securely in place. We'll see how these bags hold up over time, but overall I'm very happy with them!

Pros
  • Crumpled up like everyone else
