Huge bags, works great

Fits and works great on a Suzuki DR650 with some racks. I've dropped the bike a couple of times in very rough terrain and the bags have held up both with and without a great deal of gear. I put a lot of weight in my camping gear and lugged it over bumpy and rutted terrain at a fast pace, with a few skids on the bike over slippery gravel. Not even scrapes after pushing bulky sacks over gravel. These are great bags that hold tons of stuff but are HUGE and bulky. I pressure washed them off at the…

Great for off-road adventures!

I've been using it for over a year. After banging my expensive Touratech hard cases on boulders, I wanted soft bags and gave them a try. Excellent value for money and quality. I was concerned that I'd skimped on the price and regret it, but no! Have done many off-road tours. Oregon BDR, Idaho BDR, these bags have proven themselves. A nice touch is the elastic straps for the straps, which allow you to secure the ends of the straps. I don't have straps that blow in the wind like my friend did in…

I think they're great

This is the third set of Nelson Rig promotional bags I've used, keep coming back. The size is sufficient but not too big, the inner pockets are also useful. I'll take them straight to the grocery store for shopping so you know they're good for the trip home. Water has never entered while riding or washing the bike. Multiple drops on them and received no damage other than scrapes. The rolled up top with hook and eye straps works well and doesn't come off as long as it fits snugly. I personally…

great bags. touch her special value.

's that I use on my 2014 690ktm Enduro with Touratech trunk. work great. Considering you can spend $500 on some other dry bags, this is a bargain. super happy with them. I've used them on a couple of hikes with some rough off-road riding last month. They stay in place and still get defeated. We rode and camped all the Rocker Trail in Colorado/Utah. The rough ride didn't go to bags or mounts. Rock. I liked the properties and the quality of these bags so much that I bought a duffel bag and I am…

Good value for money!

I just rode 700 miles with my new Nelson Riggs bags on the Olympic Peninsula here in Washington State. I think they are great value for money, they seem to be well made and they look really good! I've spent enough money on my bike and other cycling gear to have decent waterproof bags that can ride off-road. At $151, that's a great deal! These bags stay zippered on and off the road, just check the tightness of the straps at stops, they are easy to adjust. The removable inner bags feel light, but

Great heavy duty bag set

Nelson Rigg is my go to for quality gear that doesn't cost an arm or a leg. I used to have a generation of them and they have endured pretty serious adventures for over 5 years. I installed them on my F800GS (with Happy Trail shocks) and used them on a cross country adventure this spring. They stayed in place, kept my stuff dry and didn't mind tipping over. The all metal hardware is a nice touch as I have broken quite a few plastic clips on other bags. The inner ear tips work very well and are…

I love my new waterproof bags.

Wow. I have used Nelson Rigg products for many years. I have a number of their current dry cases that I really like. When I saw them I decided to check them out as Nelson Rigg noted that they have put many improvements and research into this new line. Well folks, they were right! Although the material seems about the same (which isn't bad), the construction and attachment system is much better. I installed them on my KLR racks in minutes and they are there and I mean they are solid. They don't…

Good buy for accessories

Installed on 05 R1200GS. The price was right, yes you get what you pay for. But the price was reasonable, the bags are well made and lighter than hard shell bags. The stitching looks solid and the material is such that I'm sure they won't fall apart when the first bits of mud and rain hit it. I had a pair of Ortleib Dry Bag saddlebags on a previous car. SE-3050 are similar in materials and construction. However, the SE-3050's metal buckles made them the best choice for me. And the SE-3050's…
