I was so excited to try this that I tried it the second it was on my doorstep. The first time I used it, it made a wonderful flower tea (the tea balls that come with it are delicious). I brewed some hot water in a teapot, poured it into the teapot and watched the flower bloom. Fabulous! As I poured my second glass, the black plastic piece detached from the teapot's glass bowl. Luckily I was able to maneuver so that the glass didn't break and/or hot tea water spilled over me and onto my table. I read the reviews before buying and thought it was a reasonable price and I love the way it looks, I'll bite the bullet and hope others don't. It's definitely cheaply made and not attached properly, it's very pretty but definitely not practical. It would be nice to use it from time to time as you have to be very careful when pouring it so it doesn't fall apart. The other negative reviews are definitely not wrong or exaggerated. Before you buy, think about what you need it for!
