I thought it was more expensive than it should have been until I received it and compared it to another splitter I bought at 1/5 the price. it is about 3 times larger and much heavier. The metal box is very thick strong metal. Inside, the design is very simple (there is nothing special to break). I bought it specifically for cell phones and it's tuned and optimized for that frequency band (instead of the wider TV band). I've uploaded an image comparing two splitters in size and showing the inside of the box. By the way, in my house after the splitter I used two internal antennas. The whole Wilson system works very well and I get 2-3 tracks more and at least twice the data rate. The mobile phone antenna is on the roof of a two-story house.
