They remain too hard for a "sponge ". I think it's only good for exfoliation.

I bought a similar loofah from Revain which I really liked but was hoping to find a slightly smaller version so decided to try this one. They don't even compare to other brands in terms of quality and "spongyness". They're great if you just want to exfoliate your skin, but it's not really any different than using a pumice stone. I've soaked and squeezed them to try and break them, but they do little to nothing and don't stick to my hand at all. Very disappointed as I like the size but will not use this brand. in the future.
