Review on ๐Ÿ“น StarTech.com Composite to USB Video Capture: S Video Converter with TWAIN and Mac Support by Jaie Bobin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Step-by-step guide: How to install 1803 on WINDOWS 10!

To play Windows 10 Go to the Startech support site. Enter the model number (SVID2USB23) in the search box. Download the latest drivers and extract the ZIP file. Root and TWAIN. Connect your device. Go to Device Manager (right click on start menu). In the audio, video and game drivers look for two entries for the USB 2681 device. Right-click for each entry and click Update Driver. "Browse my computer manually for software." "Let me pick drivers from a list." When you see USB Audio Device, uncheck Show compatible hardware. In the right pane, look for USB EMP Audio or USB 2681 Video. Click next. Keep scanning all the dreaded compatibility warning windows and install the driver. Your capture card should now be recognized as a webcam! And yes, that means you can stream analog video. You can use any standard webcam based software to view the video stream and any audio recording software to record just the audio if you wish. Or just tweak Windows Sound to loop through your speakers. Your choice, really. This is an extremely versatile device. I haven't tested the sync between audio and video as I literally just got it working, but a high quality recording or editing application can probably fix any desync between the two signals.
