Now I can evaluate Charge 3 against the others. Flip 5 can't compete with Charge 3 since it lacks the power and is smaller than its predecessor and because the bass isn't as strong at high volumes. In comparison to previous models, the Charge 3 has a more compact bass. Yet, I find that the Flip 5's frequency response is more even, and that its sound is warmer and more realistic. When played at medium or low volumes, the Flip 5's low-frequency background sounds more like the music centers of the late 1990s and early 2022 than the same Charge 3 does.
