Review on Skechers Performance Approach Golf Shoes with Relaxed Fit by Paul Powell

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Doesn't stand up to frequent wear.

I have four pairs of Skechers Go golf running shoes that have come apart at the seam along the sole. The shoe fits well and is a good waterproof shoe until the leather separates from the sole and tears. But worst of all is the return of Skechers. The last problem I encountered started in July 2021. I bought a pair of Skechers Go golf shoes on Ebay in October 2020. These shoes are exactly like the ones in the photo. However, Skechers refused to honor the warranty as the shoe was made in May 2018. I argued that the warranty on shoes should be from the date of purchase, not the date of manufacture. How often does the average customer know or think of a product's production date? After many emails and phone calls, Skechers finally sent me a new pair of shoes to buy from Carl's Golfland. Now these shoes (pictured) are 8 months from the date I received them. But Skechers does not guarantee replacement shoes! It could be an industry-wide action. However, if this is the case, then this is a terribly unfair act. Based on my experience of four pairs of Skechers Go golf shoes all failing and my experience with Skechers customers, I encourage all potential customers to refrain from purchasing Skechers golf shoes as soon as possible.

Pros
  • Everything OK
Cons
  • Possible discomfort from padded collar and tongue
