Had to replace my last coffee grinder because . Children. I originally wanted to buy a $17-$19 model similar to my last one, but was intrigued by the removable grinder bowl. I will never go back to fully integrated devices. You can clean the bowl properly, which you just can't do with built-in appliances. Yes, they can be wiped clean with a damp cloth, but how old is the damp cloth residue in every cup of coffee? Contains 2 detachable trays: one is for hard objects such as coffee beans, dried spices, etc.; one is for softer/fresh foods like fresh herbs like cilantro, parsley, etc. as well as oils and vinegars. The main difference is that 1 blade and 2 blades are used respectively. Both bowls are made of stainless steel. There is a small plastic liner at the bottom of each bowl so it may contain odors. However, having separate bowls helps reduce this chance. So far I've used them to make coffee, ground nuts, flaxseed, cinnamon and vinaigrette. Both bowls have separate lids. The lids don't close very well, but they're designed to hold sliced food for a long time. The lids have a silicone ring at the top to prevent leaks etc. You can make a simple vinaigrette, store it with a tea lid, and then shake it by hand at the table without worrying about spills. The main/safety lid is separate from the bowl lids and also has a silicone ring around the inside to prevent parts from flying out of the bowl during use. There is a fuse that requires the lid to be in place for the grinder to work. To be fair, years later, keeping that silicone ring clean can be a headache, but I remain an optimist. If I were to be picky, my only complaint would be that finding the exact point where the cover slides into the fuse can be awkward. There are no fancy timers or lights to indicate grind size; However, you can see everything through the lid, so don't worry. In addition, the blade will stop within 1 second after releasing the grind button. My last attempt took 2-3 seconds so another win is on my list. It comes with a small brush which I will most likely lose in a couple of weeks. The manufacturer's instructions state that it should not be used for long periods of time as the engine can become hot. After I ground the beans to 12 cups, I noticed that the bottom of the bowl seemed quite warm, so it's important to note that. As far as ease of cleaning goes, this is a 100% win; for easy handling with 2 separate basins, again 100% profit; Functionality has not caused me any problems so far, so 100% profit. When mine arrived one of the cover gaskets had a small tear/cut. I contacted Cosori with a photo and they immediately sent me a replacement gasket. No headaches, no fuss, no jumping through hoops. Customer service gets another 100% profit. Give it a try if you are looking for a cheap coffee grinder. You will be impressed.
