I bought an XL Quick Grip phone holder thinking it might be too big as I I have a medium sized phone and assumed the XL was for some of those fat phone tablets. I had to work too hard to pry off the spring loaded hooks before I could fit my Samsung J7 Otterbox Symmetry phone into the RAM Mount phone holder. I used a belt sander to remove about 0.2" from the spring clips. Now the phone snaps into place snugly, but I no longer have to apply pressure. The quick-grip fits perfectly and my phone doesn't go anywhere. It's very reliable - just what you need when you're mounting an expensive phone on an adventure bike capable of washing through potholes and bumpy dirt roads with a washboard.
