First Impression A+

Usage: ATV handlebar, iPhone 7 in OUNNE WC003 case. Sturdy construction, strong spring, easy installation. The spring seems easy to clean and lubricate. I'm sure this mount will be great off-road and will be updated as things change.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Damaged

Solid attachment. Much better than X-Grip

I bought this because I ride my motorcycle off-road and wanted to make sure my phone didn't fall out. I've been using this mount for several months and so far it's 100% solid. My buddy has an X-Grip and it's not that good in rough conditions. Also, I can mount the phone with one hand and the X-Grip with two. The other mounts looked just as solid, but required you to either buy a custom case or screw the mount in place each time you put it on and then unscrew it to remove the phone. For whatโ€ฆ

Difficult to assemble Samsung J7 in the Otterbox Symmetry case

I bought an XL Quick Grip phone holder thinking it might be too big as I I have a medium sized phone and assumed the XL was for some of those fat phone tablets. I had to work too hard to pry off the spring loaded hooks before I could fit my Samsung J7 Otterbox Symmetry phone into the RAM Mount phone holder. I used a belt sander to remove about 0.2" from the spring clips. Now the phone snaps into place snugly, but I no longer have to apply pressure. The quick-grip fits perfectly and my phoneโ€ฆ

Good stand very solid

Would be 5 stars if they included a ball mount. Had to buy separately and wait 2 more days to receive it. I see there are questions and answers on this, which sadly get buried by anyone who asks about their device. (does anyone have a ruler?). We strongly recommend that someone update the PRODUCT DESCRIPTION to indicate that the ball mount (or other mount) must be purchased separately. Finally, use it on S7 Edge in portrait mode. The spring in the mount is a little tight, making it difficult to

Fits iPhone XS in dash mount

I needed a new phone mount for my motorcycle and unfortunately there aren't any cool molded options specifically for the phone yet. There are six attachment points for adding side mounts. To avoid buttons on the iPhone X or iPhone XS, you need to use the bottom four slots. To ensure a snug fit, I moved the right center pin a little further as I found it caught on the SIM tray when I tried to push everything firmly. It really is a safe stop. I held the mount and rocked it in all directions (upโ€ฆ

This is Mount Ram. what more can i say

I have multiple RAM cells on my bike and this is the second HOL-PD3 I have. (The first one broke when I tried to modify it, this is in no way the fault of the RAM). If you value functionality over fashion, this is for you. It doesn't look like a $250 piece of chrome from a design house, but then your phone won't fall out unless you flip it over. Reasons I love this mount: 1. The four arms on the sides are attached with a screw and nut so they don't "squeeze" your phone unless you adjust themโ€ฆ

Grab RAM by the horns

I've always been a fan of RAM mounting products. It's nice to have my gadgets handy when on a motorcycle and the RAM mounts seem to cover pretty much any product that needs to be installed in a car, RV or motorcycle. A few comments on this particular version of the RAM mount. If you use it with some of the super large phablet phones, you will encounter an issue with the hooks located at the top and bottom of the mount. I originally bought this mount for an iPhone 6+ with a 5.5" screen and after

Impressive. good for dash mount

Short Version: Holds the phone VERY securely, easy to install, only takes 1 second to insert or remove the phone. Now for the long version, in case you're interested. I was trying to find a way to mount my phone on the bike, not the old Garmin. This piece of plastic matched the previous owner's brackets perfectly (I think it was a SW-Motech item?) except that it could only be mounted in portrait mode. This is NOT a fault of this article, just to be clear: if I had invested in a ball-jointed RAM

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn

I have a caveat here: If I didn't try to use it with a 6 inch phablet I could give it a full 5 stars. Let's get this straight: this stand WILL NOT ACCEPT a 6 inch screen device. She is too short. And that's the *ONLY* reason I'm not giving it five stars. This is a very well made, solid stand that doesn't seem to break anytime soon. The design is pretty well thought out and will hold any device that fits in tightly but securely. The four side arms are supplied with mounting screws and nylokโ€ฆ
