I put this in the garage to see the blind spot when I turn. My garage is on a one way street and the right/passenger side of the car is a blind spot when turning. The car is designed in such a way that I cannot see the edge of the passenger wing. Mount this mirror on the wall a few feet in the garage and you now have a great view of what's happening on the passenger side. I have 18 inches which is perfect for me. The 12" will probably do the job, but the 18" is worth the extra cost. This mirror comes with all the accessories you need for installation, including cement! It didn't come with instructions, but it's pretty easy to figure out. It is very light and easy to use. Unlike some other mirrors that have reviews of how difficult it is to remove the protective film, this one comes off very easily and completely. It took longer to get the car into the driveway to decide where to put the mirror than to install it. Very easy to install by one person. However, it is much quicker if someone is sitting in the car and the other person is holding a mirror against the wall to see the best seat. This product is worth every penny and puts your mind at ease when driving into the garage!
