Review on Enhanced Ventilation Motor Assembly by NuTone - Model S97017705 by James Mayfield

Purchased to replace NuTone 8663 rp "b" which is long obsolete. Despite the experience of others, I actually had no trouble cutting the fork or fitting this motor assembly (see picture). The fit was spot on, you had to slide the fan into the case (use your finger to cut out the connector) but it was perfect, no obstructions. The noise level is loud, sure, but never uncomfortable or annoying. If you also have a light fixture, I suspect that may be the cause of the increased noise. However, it makes up for the noise with its power and efficiency. The previous fan left moisture for hours, it would have been easier to just leave the door open. This new one didn't foul the mirror even in the hottest of temperatures, which I don't recall doing with the old fan. This means that we will turn it off sooner. Very good buy, highly recommended.
