. The dealer charged me €478 for the repair. It's crazy. So I called the parts department and they told me $236 for the bulb alone. It's still crazy. Decided to try this for a fraction of the price. Even with YouTube videos with directions, it's kind of like a group of %^&( to change the bulb, but heck, I'm saving a lot of money. After a long struggle, I've finally installed the bulb properly in the headlight assembly ( (don't forget to wear latex or similar gloves to avoid leaving an oily residue on the bulb that could cause it to burn out prematurely.) Upon assembling and fixing it, we find that this bulb is a very different color and clearly not as bright like the other headlight.It just doesn't look good.Now when I pick up an old burned out headlight I can tell it's an OSRAM bulb 66340HBI.It turns out the OSRAM bulb is cheaper better than this philips bulb and many more so i order an osram bulb and swap them back to the matching headlights after installing the osram bulb it became deutlic h how much whiter and brighter she is compared to the Philips, we also note that the "good” headlight has a pink tint compared to the new bulb, which means that it also needs tsya as a replacement. SO - it turns out that the defective OSRAM bulb is actually better than this Philips bulb. Lesson learned. I saved a lot of money compared to the dealer. I would suggest that you replace BOTH bulbs at the same time to avoid color matching issues.
