I was excited about this player based on the positive reviews and cool retro design. Unfortunately, problems immediately arose. The sound was decent enough, but I immediately noticed that it's only coming from the left side of the two internal speakers and there's no way to adjust the balance. Many vinyl records recorded in stereo have separate tracks for the right and left speakers, and on some of my recordings you couldn't hear certain instruments that were recorded for the right speaker only. However, the sound was impressively decent for a media player and I might have ignored this issue, except that after playing vinyl records for a while I noticed that the stylus began to shake or vibrate intermittently. when playing, and it was bad enough that the stylus started skipping and skipping across the record as well as giving the music a weird "trill" sound. I tried several times to adjust the counterbalance on the needle handle according to the instructions but that didn't fix the problem so I decided to call it a loss and return the product.
