I know they say the cleats aren't upside down and I was eventually able to snap my shoes in, but they snapped backwards much easier and seemed a lot more stable. As an aside, I used them this morning for a workout and they worked well but felt a little loose and heavy to snap into when you're walking back and forth. UPDATE: The company contacted me and said the clamps aren't installed backwards and I've figured out how to get them to work the way they are, but it still seems a bit wrong and wrong . But I wanted to say I'm using them now and they seem to work fine once you learn how to cut backwards.
