Great little filter for the price. The included filter pad isn't the best, but it's easy to put foam and charcoal in, so no big deal. Bought one for my 5 gallon guppy tank and 3.5 gallon betta tank. The strongest current is still not too strong for bigfin bettas as long as you keep the waterline high. Definitely recommend for tanks up to 5 gallons. The product looks a bit cheap at first glance, but I haven't had a single problem with these filters. Absolutely thrilled and worth every penny. Update: (September 2021) Filters still work! Due to their small size, they quickly clog with debris and need to be rinsed (under dechlorinated water) about every 2 weeks or they will overflow. But all of my aquariums also have live plants, which probably helps. So far happy with them for the price I paid. It's probably better to keep the filters clean!
