DaToo Aquarium Hanging Waterfall Filtration Review

I've put this on my nano tank (3 gallon) for now, but I see it will fit perfectly in my 10 gallon tank when I'm ready to install it . Lots of movement in the water and the suction power is great. Too much suction if you have floats but I haven't tried adjusting the flow yet. Definitely what I'm looking for. and inexpensive enough to keep spares on hand! I've had this filter for about a week now and it works very well for a small filter. I have a 5 liter aquarium and it cleans the water perfectly. It is very quiet and works as described. I would recommend this filter for small aquariums according to the filter data sheet. The only slight disappointment is that the filters are hard to find and relatively expensive. I will use regular filter material and cut it to size. never mind Hope that helps.

Very loud filter. I adjusted the button on the bottom which should fix that but it still vibrates loudly. In addition, the pump is too powerful for the reverse flow. This filter is great for any small or nano aquarium. Probably not suitable for anything over 5 gallons, but can probably handle up to 10 gallons. The pump seems quite powerful for its size. I'd read reviews about it being small, but I still wasn't prepared for how tiny this filter really is. I matched it to my 10 liter tank. It didn't fit around the black plastic flange on the inside rim of my tank until I lightly shaved the flange off with a precision knife. Great little filter for the price. The included filter pad isn't the best, but it's easy to put foam and charcoal in, so no big deal. Bought one for my 5 gallon guppy tank and 3.5 gallon betta tank. The strongest current is still not too strong for bigfin bettas as long as you keep the waterline high. Definitely recommend for tanks up to 5 gallons. The packaging was flimsy with no instructions/parts list. A small gasket dangled in the box to connect the inlet parts together. So look for that if they don't stick together. The filter cartridge itself is garbage; replace it with loose filter material to improve the surface area for bacteria.
