Don't take it if you want to learn from it. Splug and get a real set.

This is NOT for beginners! There is only one style of calligraphy in the book that comes with the set and it doesn't even show you which stroke should be done first, it just shows you what the alphabet should look like. It doesn't even feature the type of Clygrophy depicted on the cover of the book. All handles are plastic and it may take some time for the handles to start working. Also, changing the ink is not standard on many other pens. Therefore, you will find it difficult to find a replacement ink once you have used up everything in the set.
