I used to use thermal label printers a lot at work. They are great for printing shipping labels and storage box labels. It's amazing how the price has come down over the last few years. Decided I needed the same at home. This particular printer has a great price but still delivers... It prints labels as dark as possible (different brands of labels differ in this regard). Very sharp and clear print. It's fast! The labels are really falling off. Much quicker than I'm used to from work. No traffic jams. I've printed a number of labels with no problems, including some I unrolled from the roll. With continuous labels, the first label is not wasted. When the label is finished printing, the printer feeds the label far enough to easily separate it from the liner. When you print the next label, it will feed so you can print all the way to the top. Prints directly on all four edges with no margins. Easy to open, just press the buttons on both ends of the printer. You don't have to open it to download the labels, but you do have to open them to upload them. Setup was easy. Windows 10 automatically loaded the wrong driver when I connected the printer, but the manufacturer's driver fixed it. The latest driver is available on their website. It looks like a label printing application is included in the driver but I don't need it so I didn't download it. It has everything you need to make it work; Power supply, cable and driver. However, sample labels are not available, so please order them with your printer. I'm glad I have this, great printer.
