I was very apprehensive about buying this comforter as there are so many negative reviews about stalls and crazy sewing. I really didn't have a choice as it was the nicest thing I could find and almost all comforters these days have more negative than positive reviews and I had to put our house up for sale quickly. I'm so happy with who I am! The only loose strings were cut at the factory. There were no stains or odd colors. The accent pillows are very cute and the duvet is very warm. The ceiling is clumsily darned. The filling is distributed a bit strangely, but it looks and feels ok: the duvet fabric is very soft, but it's a shame you have to have sheets between you and the duvet. The sheets that come with the kit are very strange. They almost feel like very thin, smooth denim. I was definitely better. The last complaint I have is that the pillowcases are very thin. So if your pillows are any color other than white (my husband has a special black memory foam pillow) then throwing off the covers will show it and your bed will look weird. Otherwise I am very happy with this purchase and would love to have it. This blanket is in a different color! I like to think that many of the negative reviews were just manufacturing defects.
