I was happy to get the remote back after some waiting as early model C5 remotes were quite expensive. I received this remote quickly and it worked fine initially. Then, just a few days later, the remote wouldn't close or open the doors on the first click. Then a week later it stopped working completely. I checked it with my remote tester and it showed no signal from the remote so I checked the battery in it and it was fully charged. I take it back and still nothing. To make sure my tester was working, I tried the remote control from another device and it worked! Send this back and we'll see if the new one lasts longer than a week (Update: no better. The new one lasted about a week and it doesn't work like the original I bought. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. ) I tested it with my remote tester when it doesn't work and I see there is no signal from it. . After pressing it several times, a signal appears. Not very happy with this purchase and will be returning it as well. Sequel follows:
