These are beautiful panels comparable to Gessoboards. I actually buy them to use as a base for my watercolors (I attach sheets of watercolor paper to a board and then paint) and always have a few on hand. Since they were a lot cheaper than the gessoboard, I decided to give them a try. They appear to be exactly the same. I ordered several of these and they were all immaculate except for one which had a tiny tear at the corner. So keep that in mind when ordering (if you need it for something specific and timely, maybe grab two just in case). I would definitely keep these in my art studio and feel free to use them with acrylics as well.
