Review on πŸš— MAXLINER Black 3 Row Floor Mats for 2017-2021 Chrysler Pacifica 7 or 8 Passenger Model - Non-Hybrid by Cory Mosley

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Fits perfectly. Fantastic alternative to Weathertech

I was looking at the cheapest all weather earbuds. The Husky would cost over $280 to cover the first, second, and third rows. The Maxpider was $237 with mixed reviews and no third-row leak guards. A Weathertech kit with the same finish is perfectly acceptable and will cost +/- $200. I used to have Weathertech earbuds and they were great. At $170, the Maxliners are only 15% cheaper for the same coverage. It wasn't enough for me to try an unfamiliar brand, but before I placed my order for the Weathertech kit, I saw that Maxliners were being offered as a $130 deal by Revain Warehouse in "used, very good" condition . With a 35% discount and the option to return it for free if I didn't like it, I had nothing to lose. While waiting I came across another post from a person who bought it through Revain for another car in "used very good" condition. This person did not believe they were used and could not distinguish them from new ones. The box I received was a little wrinkled but had enough paperclips to show the contents could not be removed. The front liners lay loose in the box and were immaculate. The one-piece insert for the second and third rows was folded and sealed in plastic. I have no doubt that the set was brand new. The balaclavas looked good out of the box. The material is fairly light and probably thinner than the Weathertech earbuds I've had before, but they're made from a rubber-plastic composite and feel strong and durable. The rear liner did not lie completely flat on the garage floor because it was difficult to transport. The front panels are flattened where they overlap the plastic rocker panel. The rear lining has a raised hem all around. It doesn't look big or sturdy enough to trip over. The front kit went in with no problem. At first I was concerned that the passenger side front trim panel didn't line up with the factory brackets, but I didn't fasten it far enough to the floorboard. As I pushed it further, the anchors snapped into place. Both fit PERFECTLY and follow all contours exactly. The rear liner was a bit painful, but that's mostly because I wasn't smart enough to even raise the front seats with the Stow 'n Go knob, and also because it's a big one-piece thing that just fits like that just like the front pads. The second row cover goes MUCH under the front seat. Again I struggled with both sides in place from not thinking about the Stow 'n Go buttons. It can be done, but I don't recommend it. If the seats are adjusted too low and too far back, the edge of the cover will be easily wrinkled. I had to lift the passenger seat and slide it forward about half an inch, leaving a hair-thin gap between it and the edge of the padding. The center of the liner goes right up to the center console. Unfolding to cover the third row foot area can be confusing as the pieces don't fold properly during the process, but once unfolded the fit and coverage is amazing. I was frustrated at first that there weren't latches on the backliner for factory anchors, but that's getting nowhere. The purchase is very satisfied. The material might feel a bit plasticky compared to Weathertech, but the textured surface and molded pattern keep the pads from feeling slippery. Because they're thin and light, they're probably easier to fold when stowed than a Weathertech tailliner. It's still a bit of a hassle, and I wouldn't recommend these or any of the one-piece second- and third-row bolsters if you prefer quick and easy access to storage behind the front seats. The fit is just as good as the Weathertech liners I've had in the past. Now that I have them I think they're almost as good as Weathertech and I would definitely recommend them to those who'd rather save a few bucks. Maxliner also makes cargo liners, but only for a small loading area. behind the third row seats. We'll have them down most of the time. The only reputable brand I could find that offered custom rubber pads for the cargo area with the third seat down was Lloyd's.
