I've bought a lot of Columbia clothing and this is the first thing that left me a little disappointed. This is a good jacket, I doubt I can find anything that good for the price I paid. But I have a few issues with it: - the fleece is thinner than I expected - the little black laces on the zippers come off easily, I've given up trying to put them on, I never had. happens with every other jacket - the neck is so long and narrow that it's awkward to zip it all the way up (a problem I've found with another kids' Columbia fleece jacket as well) - the zip started seizing up after a while not too 'twist' right away ( It does a very poor job at the zip - zip) I could give it 3 stars but aside from the issues above it holds up well, is comfortable and keeps you warm. The yellow we got is a matte yellow and the "panels" are dark gray. I got one a little bigger (probably 1-1.5 sizes bigger) so there wasn't a problem with the waist being too short (a problem I've seen in other reviews and I could see it happening at happened to a big kid).
