Pros: Nice and bright. The height of the bulb is similar (slightly longer, see image) to the bulbs it's trying to replace, which is important when your lens cap is a tight tolerance. Other similar LED bulbs are much longer and not suitable for my application. Cons: If you are using these to replace the stock brake/flash bulbs, you may need a "load balancer or resistor" to tell your electronic system that there is indeed a bulb in the socket. The LEDs draw so little current that my turn signal light flashes rapidly, indicating that the turn signal is burned out. Therefore, an equalizer or resistor is required. UNDERSTANDING: What to look for in lightbulbs. Where the base meets the glass of your Ba15s bulb, you will NOT see the "edge" and will be able to go deeper into the socket. These 1156 LEDs have a small "rim" at the top of the base where they meet the LEDs. This prevented me from using these lamps. Look at your outlet. Is there extra space for this rim? Does the lamp's existing base sit over the hole or does it fit completely in where the lamp's glass begins? Much luck!
