Durable horizontal phone mount when suction cup, CD, or air vent mounts don't work

I've tried many phone mounts over the years with varying degrees of success. On hot days, the attachments on the suction cups come loose. CD holders only work if you don't play CDs or even have a CD player in your dashboard. The vents pivot and take one of them for air conditioning or heating use. But when I came across this phone mount I was hooked. Here's what I think after using this phone mount: 1) This mount is very strong. The beanbag doesn't slide on my dash at all when I turn. I also appreciate that this beanbag doesn't have any glue on the bottom as I don't want to mess up the dash. 2) The ball arm is "locked" with a switch once you find the perfect position. To adjust, simply move the switch to the "unlock" position and press the tab on the back to move the lever. 3) The phone mount has a ring that you tighten around the ball arm to get the right angle. 4) The mount is best for your phone in a horizontal model. It can work in vertical mode but takes up a decent portion of the windshield. 5) The bracket itself is adjustable on both sides. There is a spring on one side and a ratchet with a button on the other. I recommend you "set and forget" on the ratchet side as it flexes a bit and I'm worried about it wearing out over time. Use the spring side to quickly slide your phone in and out of the mount. All in all, this is a great solution for those who want a solid dash mount and don't mind horizontal alignment. I will update my review if anything changes as I have used the product over time.
