We have a 2009 Dodge Journey and the key fobs fell apart. One key fob showed a bad key in the ignition so I took it apart and saw the wire was broken so I wrapped it in clear tape and only plugged it in for programming. The instructions were 98% accurate. The only difference was the timing of the audio gauges. Anyway, as soon as I plugged in the new programming key, it read the key perfectly. It cost $200 to buy two new keys and have a locksmith program them, instead it only cost us $19.99. Thanks very much!
