Worked great, my 4k tv worked on my hp workstation. My graphics card only had DP or DVI-D connectors and I heard DVI-D doesn't support 4k so I bought this adapter and now the display works fine. There is one issue that still bothers me, but it's not the cable's fault. HDMI only supports 30kHz refresh rates. You have to use a full DP capable TV to get a higher refresh rate so the mouse is really lagging. I've tweaked the mouse to be less annoying, but that's the only downside so far. But right now, 42-inch Vizio 4K TVs are under $500. This is very beneficial. So if you can handle a little mouse lag like I can, you'll be amazed at how much real estate you get on a massive 4K monitor. (Just make sure your graphics card supports 4k resolution before doing this). Thanks for your time. Hope this helps if you are considering the same option.
