Cute Multi-Output Christmas Tree Star

Our family loves this Christmas tree star. It is very pretty, well built and looks great on the tree. The snowflake projection is really cool, but I wish it was wider (wider?) than the projection. We have 18 meter high ceilings so it would be really cool if the ceiling was covered in snowflakes. The assembly of the star was relatively easy with 2 clamps. This process annoyed me at first, but after playing with it for a few minutes I realized that this is a much stronger way of attaching a star to a tree than a regular cone. The power cord is huge - I can't remember how long, but it was easily 9ft and probably closer to 15ft. Advantages: 1. WITHOUT SHINE. This was a big plus for me. Every other star like this one on Revane was covered in glitter. That's a hard NO for me - things are lying around and you can't get rid of them. Finding a star without glitter was almost as awesome as winning the lottery (at least I think it's close).2. Well built. The star is made of durable plastic and consists of 2 halves with a projection unit installed between them. Attached to the underside of one half is a metal rod that essentially has two large hair clips attached to it. These clips are used to attach the star to the tree rather than using a standard cup/cone that the top of the tree is inserted into.3. Pretty. The star is a very nice reflective gold color that looks great on the tree. Disadvantages: 1. The projection is too narrow. I would have preferred to have a wider projection so more of the snowflake effect extends to our ceiling. It's not a huge problem, but it's a little disappointing considering it's a relatively easy change.2. The attachment. I'm still flagging this as a scam, although I like the idea. While the idea is good, the implementation is still a bit sloppy. It took a few minutes to get the clamps really tight and then I had to loosen some branches that were stuck in the clamps to make the tree look more normal. The clips also dangled a little from the metal bar, making it even more difficult to attach. Once I've attached it, it looks great.3. cable length. I know the cord is long as the lowest common denominator (live trees) but this thing is SOOOO long! We have a new artificial tree that uses the 'trunk' of the tree as a power cord and a handy plug near the top of the tree for backlit/powered tees. I had to hide a 1x4 inch bundle of wires and some decorations behind the trunk. Did I mention it's REALLY long? Overall, this is a really good star tree top. The downsides are actually very minor and can be worked around, and it looks really good at the top of our tree. The snowflake projection is also unique and very cool.
