Good TIG torch. Reasonable Price

I bought this TIG Torch because I needed it for my new 3 in 1 welding machine. I contacted several sources to discuss the various options available and finally settled on a third party torch over the one offered by my welder manufacturer. Some of the criteria I used were: First, I wanted a complete flashlight (I didn't want to assemble it from parts). Second, I wanted a flexible head cutter with a gas control valve. Third, I wanted the 26 series torch to be able to handle the extra amperage of my welder. Fourth, I wanted a single cord burner (electricity and gas use the same cord). I looked around and found a few that fit those criteria, but finally settled on this one. I compared flashlight to flashlight and it had everything I wanted at a reasonable price. I don't necessarily choose the cheapest product. I try to appreciate what I'm getting and buy the best value for money and I think that's it. The flashlight was shipped quickly with all components and arrived in perfect condition. It looked good and went from the crate to the welder with no problems. I bought additional consumables and they all fit perfectly and worked perfectly. For those who don't know, collets, shells, insulators, collet bodies, etc. are interchangeable between manufacturers. They are all built to a common standard so products from any manufacturer will fit any burner (YET THE SERIES IS THE SAME! ie 17 Series, 20 Series or 26 Series). The flashlight shone perfectly and worked well. It doesn't overheat and was quite comfortable to use. It handles all the amperage my welder can deliver and is still working well a month after buying it. (Note: this is a 200 amp torch. If your welder only puts out 120, 140, or 150 amps, you should probably use a 17 series torch, which is rated for 150 amps.) Only thing that worries me in hindsight power is the rated power of the burner (which I specifically chose). The flashlight is a little heavy, the cord is a little stiff, and the flexible head is not very flexible. All of these things are really just a function of a 200 amp burner, so I feel it's a necessary compromise. So four stars for a really good product. If the flashlight were a little more flexible, it would definitely get five stars.
