Review on Set of 24 Assorted Gift Bags, Kraft and Foil Hot-Stamp Santa Mail Designs, Medium Vogue Size in Christmas Prints - Red, Green, and Gold by Carrie Spencer

I took a chance on this purchase, no reviews and experience has taught me that there are different levels of quality when it comes to gift bags. I'm happy to report that these bags meet my expectations, with a note on the back. I'd like the lettering on the back to be ripped off like the front and not in dull ink, but I'm probably expecting too much from bags under $1 each. The print is glossy, crisp and very legible. No edge bleeding or blotchy foil. I especially like bags in the shape of envelopes! The bag itself lives up to the quality of the grocery bags and I appreciate the sturdy piece of cardboard that sits at the bottom of each bag. I never rely on gift bag handles when they're holding something heavy, but I've pulled a few of these well and they haven't pulled/dropped. The bags are NOT two different sizes although it looks like they could be in the photo. They are all the same size as advertised, so I can't take a star off for size. They're not big enough to fit in a traditional "shirt box," but they could easily hold a shirt folded halfway the way it's boxed in department stores. If you don't have a tape measure to get the exact size, they are about 1 inch shorter and narrower than a typical women's magazine. Big enough for a hardback book or two or a good stack of paperbacks. All in all I have no regrets with this purchase and look forward to seeing them under the tree. But first I need to pick up and decorate the Christmas tree! I hope you have a nice holiday.
