I hesitated to buy it because people said it was difficult to install and the bite valve didn't work. Bought it, took 10-15 minutes to install. The hardest part was figuring out how to mount it so my cables don't get in the way of it (yes I have a bike with cables). Once I figured that out, fitting the bottle into the carrier was relatively easy. I was surprised that people who are either cyclists or triathletes have struggled with this as I didn't find anything difficult about it. Do you need to use some force? Sure, but nothing extreme. There are reviews that see the bite valve too critical. Just so everyone knows - you have to pull the bite valve out a bit to open the "safety valve" (for lack of better terms) and then you just bite the bite valve and the water will flow quite easily. Once that "fuse" is pulled out, it stays out until you push it in, so I just pull it out when I start my ride and plug it back in when I finish my ride. I don't realize that water gets through with more difficulty than through my camelback. I went for a walk with it on Saturday and am very happy with it. I'm looking forward to it in the coming racing season.
