Review on 🖤 IRWIN Tools STRAIT-LINE Lumber Crayons, Black, 2-Pack: Long-lasting and Reliable by Dawn Fischer

I didn't buy these from Revain but every few years I decide to try again because every hardware store has them and Irwin makes some pretty good stuff. Most recently, maybe 2 years ago. At best, they leave the faintest mark on wood, wet or dry. Useless on dry or wet tires to indicate leaks. Not suitable for marking on dry steel. I tried cutting off the top layer and breaking it in half, assuming I needed fresh material. Just last weekend I warmed up the tip to soften it in hopes of noticing some leaks from the cordless mower. I was amazed that everything from barely warm to melted was as bad as cold. I'll look for videos to see what I'm doing wrong.
