Review on 🧡 Enhance Your Sewing Projects with June Tailor JT 830 Fusible Batting! by Karla Richter

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very low loft and hard until finished and cleaned.

I've never used melted cotton wool so this was a new experience. It took a while - a little more than hand basting (putting it on one side then flipping to do the other side; hence 2 steps vs 1 hand basting step) but for me it was worth it in the end. I used a 39x39 lap blanket to try out over the large exit. Yes, it's thin, but not too different from what I usually use with the Warm and Natural - I like low-pile cotton for what I do. (I like higher loft polyester from time to time.) When I saw that it was as stiff as many reviewers pointed out, I almost hesitated. but after washing it was like any other flimsy cotton. I would definitely use for wall hangings. For the cost and washing the comforter when you're done, I recently tried Elmer's "washable" school glue - it works, it's cheaper, and it washes out too.
