They need to be ironed, not starch spray dyed, but they do need to be ironed thoroughly. well cut so difficult to line up the corners for folding. The cut is sloppy, lots of thread, bad corners and the place where the lace fits is dirty. Two of the serviettes had their ends torn at the seams. Three had pen marks that didn't wash off. I'll be using my mother's damask or my grandmother's madeira, so it's worth it.
