I use this to transfer photos from my camera's memory card to my computer. The form factor is nice and compact. I had slow speeds the first few times I used it: it ran at 23MB/s on a card with a 95MB/s read speed. But the last few times I've used it (on the same USB 3 port as before) the transfer has been much faster and now seems limited only by memory card speed. I don't know if the card had a bad socket contact or needed a driver that installed automatically, but it's working great now. I'm changing my rating to 5 stars as it's working great now, but I may lower it to 4 if slow speed becomes an issue again.
