Good farming motherboard with 6 GPUs. It will accept 6, but you have to do certain things for this to happen. 1) Before connecting a riser board or peripheral (RAM/CPU/HDD only), connect it to the monitor (HDMI) and update the BIOS. 2) After updating the BIOS to the latest version, enable "Decoding above 4g" in the advanced section (this is in the "System Agent (SA) configuration" of the BIOS (note if you do this first and then Update your BIOS (it will revert to 4g encoding = disabled after BIOS update). After setting these options, boot your operating system (Windows 10) and set everything up, then you can use the riser cards with a important detail connect to your motherboard, all 6 cards must be identical (same manufacturer, model etc.) this does not work with cards from different manufacturers or different models (with bios v2080 from 03/16/21) asus nvidia 3070 does not work, freezes and no video If using a 6 MSI AMD 5700 xt it will boot as champion (or all 6 of the same cards). Another point to consider if you are having problems with AMD cards that support the AMD Adra line driver load (blue screen or not can't load it), you need to add windows 10 registry key to windows long timeout to find card on riser (google how to add TdrDelay to registry), which causes the blue screen is fixed. Much luck! and yes i spent about 2 days of trial and error trying to figure it all out. :) I have 4 (6 gpu) mining rigs with this motherboard so it's possible.
