This was a great purchase and I would recommend it to anyone who thinks luggage locks are an important part of air travel. I once made the mistake of traveling without her and discovered that someone had tampered with the contents of one of my bags. Luckily it was like that, everything was there. But after that I realized that I needed quality locks for my suitcases. They're Transportation Security Administration approved (which means they can pick the lock with a special key to search the bag and then relock it), so you're cooperating with national security if you use them. They're solid too, they fit into your luggage's zips and are a pretty solid security device, removing any temptation for a transient handler searching the contents of your luggage to do so. A felon would probably be able to pick the lock, but first they would probably have to steal the luggage.
