I have many scanners. Some of them are simple code readers and some are professional level diagnostic tools. This sits right in the middle of the package. It's a 4 system scanner (engine, transmission, ABS and SRS) and does a good job of digging into those systems. I used it on my Mirage 2018 and it was able to read all the PIDs for the CVT and the engine. The ABS was missing an element or two, but nothing that would make me nervous. Both the general side and the OEM side had fast PID read times. I was delighted and wondered what he had as a processor. The cool thing about this little battery powered tool is that it comes with 3 free upgrades. You can add the features you need. I chose to reset the oil gauge, bleed the brakes, and reset the DEF, but there are at least 15 more you can download if you're willing to pay for them. Finally, the car information is updated for free and the coverage of the car was really good. Overall I think this scanner would be an ideal device for home use and would also be a good choice for a technician's first scanner. Not bad!
