Review on 🚿 Hudson Brass Works WO L-Shape Shower Curtain Rod, Chrome Finish, 61.5 x 25.75 x 24 inches by Anna Alcala

Works great for my bathtub without a full alcove wall

It's lightweight, but strong and durable - and shiny! I think lightness serves an important purpose. The rod did what it had to do. I had to cut the pipe to the right length. It cuts very easily with my jigsaw. I had a solid work area and made a perfect, even cut. Also, due to my low ceiling, I had to shorten the massive metal support bar. When I cut the support rod I also added a mark with a jigsaw and filed about 1/4 inch from the end. The fitting that holds the stem has a screw that tightens to secure the stem. I cut a groove so the screw would hold on the shank without slipping. I had to drill 8 holes in the tile for anchors to connect the end pieces. It would have been easier to drill into drywall, but the ceiling was so low I had to tackle the tiles. I used the smallest diamond bit that came with my BLENDX diamond bit set. The set costs 5€ more, but it's worth it. I heard that bit drilling is very time consuming.
