Review on MKS URBAN PLATFORM Silver Platform by Lagant Wardrick

I put them on my more casual touring bike (I have spikes/pedals without SPD clamps for my main touring bike) and connected them with leather covered MKS half clips. The pedals are light, easy to turn and I think they look great. Since they are weighted they really need toe clips to ensure they fall into the right position for the pedal fin to be useful. I personally find the MKS half clamps the perfect solution compared to the clip/belt solution. Since I ride cleats/clampless most of the time, it's very unnatural to pull your foot backwards to release when using the straps. The half-clamps mean I can use basically the same movement to release my foot from one of the pedals, but still have a solid footing to both engage and disengage the pedals. Highly recommended.
